Baseball free night

Ok, so my husband had a game tonight and decided that he needed to work on team schedules instead. So, I had a disappointed little man on my hands, but we went to Lowes instead. This is a close second for him next to baseball because they have tractors (lawnmowers), and orange ones at that. Yep, that is his favorite color even from a very little guy. When we got home, he was O-U-T! Anyway, we have another chance at going to a game on Saturday and again on Sunday. Until then, daddy is setting up "Spring Training" in the back yard at little mans request, not ours. Silly boy!

My Baseball Life

So, I think that the name says it all...we are a family of baseball fanatics! Our lives are totally immersed in baseball from personal recreation to my husband running adult leagues. He played as a kid and still does several times a week, I played softball and play pick up games when I can, and soon to come our son who cannot wait to fit in his own cleats! The day he has his first t-ball game in my opinion will rank up there with his first steps and first words. Oh, and even though they can really stink it up at times, the Houston Astros have my unending love. Even though they won't disappoint my low expectations this year (or any other year), I honestly cannot wait to get back to the park and root them on. Baseball is my life not only my hobby. This makes me a happy girl!
