My Baby and My Niece
Joseph got to go to my Niece's softball games yesterday. He absolutely L.O.V.E.D every minute of being there. He actually became the foul ball rover for the girls.
Tears were flowing when he left!
BTW - I know it looks like we only own one outfit for this kiddo,
but truth is that this is all he wants to wear when we are at the ball park.
The Astros have never let me down!
Ok. I admit. Every single season is the same. We have high hopes of a great winning season, and it unfortunately never turns out that way. However, this season was going to be different. The franchise is being sold and payroll has been drastically slashed. Not even for a minute did I think that they are going to do anything other than show up in uniform for their games. Maybe even give us a win here and there to keep fans interested a little. The fans arent really asking for much, just make it a painless as possible. Not so much for tonights game though, chalk up another in the loss column. Boo! But I still love them just the same and will cheer them on forever!
On another note, the hubs teams are doing great! And, my niece that plays for University of Mary-Hardin Baylor, well they are 14-0 in their conference as of yesterday. Oh, and this afternoon, my son and his daddy were taking turns hitting off the tee in the yard. It was cute to watch him put the balls on the tee for his dad and then say things like "good shot daddy" or "awesome job"!!! He loves this stuff! Some call it an addiction, but I think its just good quality fun together. Yep, baseball and softball run deep in this family!
Well, gotta get to sleep. Church in the morning and we have 15 three and four year olds waiting on us!

Baseball free night
Ok, so my husband had a game tonight and decided that he needed to work on team schedules instead. So, I had a disappointed little man on my hands, but we went to Lowes instead. This is a close second for him next to baseball because they have tractors (lawnmowers), and orange ones at that. Yep, that is his favorite color even from a very little guy. When we got home, he was O-U-T! Anyway, we have another chance at going to a game on Saturday and again on Sunday. Until then, daddy is setting up "Spring Training" in the back yard at little mans request, not ours. Silly boy!
